Hooray for Judge John E. Jones III
Dream Oddities #3: Psychological Insights
Old Testatment-Style Retribution

Cooler heads have prevailed. Proof one can be conservative, a person of faith, and yet not insist imposing this on everybody else (unAmerican) or insisting that science acknowledge your superstitions beliefs.
Judge Jones is a George W. Bush appointee who has ruled that the (former) school board of Dover, PA's decision to impose the religious gerrymandering known as Intelligent Design is unconstitutional, violating the separation of church and state, a fundamental American principle.
Please, proselytizing conservative Christian wackos (and others) take note: just because you equate your religious beliefs with America does not mean they are in any way actually American except perhaps by the happenstance of geography. Your wish to misinterpret and cynically use American laws to achieve your demagogic goals is in and of itself fundamentally un-American. Move to fucking Iran if you want a theocracy. Or just grow up and take responsibility for your own beliefs: you're welcome to them as long as you keep them to yourself and out of your fellow Americans' hair.
